Night Work, C.E. Perry
Accessible yet unpredictable, C. E. Perry's debut collection thrums with curiosity as each poem opens a porthole into an alternate reality. Her focus is on the real subjects--desire, childlessness, death--all fleshed of equal parts gratitude and remorse.
C. E. Perry was born in Atlanta, Georgia. She graduated from the Iowa Writers' Workshop and from Dartmouth Medical School. Her poems have appeared in The Southern Poetry Review, Southeast Review, Alchemy, GSU Review and Pool. She is a family medicine physician at a community health clinic in San Francisco where she lives with her family.
