We're pleased to announce our next round of Sarabande Writing Labs for 2016.
Journalist and bestselling author Sarah Ivens will teach a special writing workshop series for women who have lost a child, from pregnancy onwards. Sarah, who has lost pregnancies herself, will share tools for storytelling and facing the blank page. She will guide the group through working on short projects and sharing their writing, as they are comfortable doing so.
This three-workshop series will culminate in a lovingly handcrafted anthology of writing by group participants. There is no fee to participate. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve a spot. Visit our events page for the dates and locations of upcoming workshops.
Sarah Ivens is a bestselling author of nonfiction from Little, Brown and Random House. She has written for The Guardian, The Sunday Telegraph, Brides, Glamour, In Style, and Cosmopolitan amongst others. Sarah is a PhD candidate in Comparative Humanities at University of Louisville.
