  • Sarabande will be participating at this year's Southern Festival of Books in Nashville, TN. The festival starts October 14th and goes on to through the 16th. We will be joined by Paul Griner, author of Hurry Please, I Want to Know (2015), and Amelia Martens, author of The Spoons in the Grass are There to Dig a Moat (2016); they will both be panels over the course of the weekend, Griner on the 15th at 10:00 A.M. and Martens on the 16th at 2:00 P.M. 
  • Lauren Shapiro, author of Easy Math (2013), had her poem "A Strange Thing Happened on March 8th" featured on a Sunday broadcast for Audio Saucepan. We encourage you listen to the broadcast and purchase your own copy here
  • The Asian American Writer's Workshop has recently announced that it will be hosting a launch party for Randa Jarrar, author of the forthcoming Him, Me, Muhammad Ali (2016). Also featured to perform work from the collection of short stories will be authors Moustafa Bayoumi, Hala Alyan, and Sara Yasin. The event will be hosted on October 12th at the Asian American Writer's Workshop in New York City.
