Sarabande Welcomes Spring 2017 Interns

Sarabande is pleased to introduce our new interns for our Spring 2017 season!

Our development intern, Justin, as a local Louisvillian, will be working closely with the community. Justin expresses, “I’m really interested in learning how the nonprofit publishing industry gives voices to people who are under represented by major publishing companies.”

Maggie, our marketing intern, comes to Sarabande from Ohio. Maggie misses her horse, aptly named Poet, but is excited to work with Sarabande this spring.

Lauren, our new programming intern, is joining us from the Windy City, and is grateful for the surprisingly warm winter in Louisville. She happily announces, “I’m thrilled to start work on the Sarabande Writing Labs and get involved with the literary community.”

Finally, our editorial intern, Emily, is joining us from North Carolina. Emily has a 5-month old puppy and a fear of sparrows.

All our new interns bring with them fresh ideas, a passion for literature, and an eagerness to learn. We're excited to welcome them to our Louisville offices and look forward to what we'll accomplish together this season!
