Welcoming Our Fall 2017 Interns!

Introducing our fall 2017 intern team:

Escaped from the wilds of a northern Michigan conifer farm, Cailin Ashbaugh joins us as our brand new development intern. She can't wait to learn fundraising how-tos for a nonprofit literary press. If you're interested in witches, women, or dead people, you can find her work in the winter 2017 issue of Midwestern Gothic or scribbled in the margins of coffee receipts.

Freshly minted from Eastern Kentucky University, Meghan McKinney will serve as our editorial and administrative intern. She's ready to discover fresh, modern manuscripts at a small independent press and, as always, is on the hunt for the perfect sentence. On Friday nights, you can find her deep in a space documentary or embroidering clothes for her favorite bands.

Elle Drumheller comes to us from hot and humid North Carolina and will be serving as our marketing intern this fall. She can't wait to take the perfect Instagram with Sarabande's famous photo booth (and to help market our fall and winter titles). When she's not chasing her three dogs around her backyard, she's writing feminist short stories and putting off revising her novel.

We can't wait to fall into a pile of manuscripts!
