The Sarabande staff has spent this past week moving out of our twenty-two year residence at 2234 Dundee Road in the Highlands of Louisville, and into our new home at 822 E. Market Street. Sarabande Books began at the Dundee office in 1994, with piles of paper manuscripts, boxy computers, and a dream of publishing the best literary short fiction, poetry, and essays available. We have come a long way since 1994, and are excited to move forward in our new space. Stay tuned for a peek into the new office!
Our relocation is around the corner! We invite all our friends to direct packages and correspondence to our new office:

Insider Louisville featured our move to the NuLu district recently, with an interview from our Director of Programming and Development, Kristen Miller:
"Miller thinks the growth will be aided by the fertile atmosphere downtown. 'We really feel like the East Market Street community is a perfect fit for us. . . . [It’s] the place for people who are coming into their own in Louisville right now.'" —Insider Louisville
Stay tuned for our final good-bye to our Highlands office.

After twenty-two years publishing notable and award-winning books from our flagship office in the Louisville Highlands, we are pleased to announce that Sarabande Books is moving to Louisville's NuLu district.
Home to Louisville's most beloved local shops, galleries, and restaurants, Nulu occupies a stretch of East Market Street just blocks from Waterfront Park and historic Whiskey Row. We can't wait to take our place among these local treasures and continue our work publishing literature of lasting impact and lending our signature style to Louisville's thriving arts scene. Stay tuned!
