SARABANDE IN EDUCATION
Sarabande In Education was a three-year, web-based educational program launched in 1999 with the help of the Lila Wallace Reader's Digest Fund. The first online literary resource of its kind, Sarabande In Education facilitated author-classroom interaction through online reader's guides, discussion boards, and live interviews. This program expanded the audience for small-press titles by demonstrating to students that authors write for a real audience and with real purpose.
Today, the Sarabande In Education program continues as a series of reader's guides for our titles, written by the authors themselves. These classroom-ready guides contain discussion questions, writing exercises, and suggested further reading to accompany each title. Click below to view our reader's guides.
